As you approach the gates of Amaryllis Beach Resort, you would never expect to find a resort that stretches across 5 acres of lush tropical gardens and a long white sandy beach. The property is shaped like a cone with the smallest side as the entrance from the road and the longest side as the beachfront paradise. After passing through the gates the property is located at the bottom of a small hill which is what allows the resort to provide such a peaceful setting while being so centrally located.

Our beach is the envy of all the hotels on the South Coast of Barbados, simply because of the artificial reef that we built in order to create a protected swimming area. This also prevents our beach from being eroded by heavy surf. So during some times of the year when other hotels' beaches are inaccessible, our guests are sprawled out along the sand enjoying the waters and sand as anyone should while on a Barbados vacation.

While there are several dining options on property, you may want to venture out to explore what Barbados has to offer. The central location of the Amaryllis provides easy access to several dining options very close to the hotel. We are only about a 15 minute drive from BGI airport and just a few minutes from the Barbados cruise port and Bridgetown.
